            I saw a pair of eyes today, eyes that knew me but pretended they didn't they glanced in my direction they danced all over my body but never, not once did they meet my own. We exchanged platitudes, "How's mum, how's work?" But the eyes betrayed hidden emotions. We were lovers once; by fate or quirk?
